Artwork Arrangement
It's a common mistake to hang pictures too high and to have too many things on the walls. Be selective ... hang just your favorites or rotate items with the seasons. (That way you can really appreciate what is on display.) In addition, your eyes need a place to rest, so leave one wall empty.
Personalize Your Home
Your home should reflect who you are and what you value. Display family pictures and keepsakes instead of putting them in shoe boxes. (Group pictures together for greater impact.) Instead of buying pictures from a store, consider framing vacation photos and souvenirs as unique artwork instead ... and they make great conversation pieces too!
