Wedding Invitation Etiquette Traditional wedding invitations are still in popular demand but, in recent years expressing your unique style through your wedding invitation has added another facet to planning your wedding. Here are some helpful tips for your wedding invitations:
1. The brides family is financially responsible for every aspect of the wedding invitations, including postage. (Dont forget to include a stamp on your response envelopes!)
2. Your wedding invitation should never mention gifts or where you are registered, this is considered improper.
3. Be sure to give the name and address of your church and your reception hall, include a map from each direction to help out of town guests to find their way. Decide whether you will have some wedding invitations that are for the reception only.
4. Wedding invitations should be mailed 2 months in advance of the wedding date.
