Wedding Favor Etiquette A common question asked by brides today is, "Should we give one wedding favor per guest or one wedding favor per couple?" Well there is no correct answer to this question but, here are some guidelines you can apply.
If you are giving small wedding favor candies or gifts, choose unique containers in which to present them and place one at each seat at the dining tables. If you are giving larger, more expensive or handmade wedding favors, one per couple would suffice. In this instance, they should be labelled with the couple's name and could be placed so that guests can pick them up when entering the reception. Whether giving one wedding favor per person or one per couple, it is always a good idea to have a few extra wedding favors on hand. A guest may want (and take) more than one wedding favor or you may have additional people who rsvp at the last minute. If your guest list includes children you may want to include special wedding favors just for them.
Should you have unique or traditional wedding party favors? Relax, it's completely your choice. You may decide to give traditional Jordan Almonds wrapped in Tulle Circles with a Favor Tag bearing your names and wedding date or, you can be unique and give Personalized Flower Seed Packet Favors that your guests can grow in their gardens or window boxes. Wedding favors today are all about your personal style and potential theme. ©2004-2007 ForeverAndAlways.com
